Who am I? I am a local artist, born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida and now living in Dunedin. I'm a mother of two, a wife, a sister, a daughter, an auntie and a friend. I have strong bonds with my family and friends and strong ties and commitment to my local community. There are no down days, I'll rest when I'm dead :)

 

My Education, Experience and Work:

I attended the Pinellas County Center for the Arts (PCCA) at Gibbs High School and received 4 years of training in all areas of visual art. For me, the most important lessons learned at PCCA included the value of collaborative efforts combined with the ability to critique each other's work without feeling personal insult and the satisfaction of bringing thoughts and ideas to fruition.

While I am usually found painting a mural or creating a faux wood surface, I enjoy just about any medium, especially projects where I can get my hands dirty!

I have many passions and keep busy with many things including art, my children, volunteering and creating positive change in the world. I'm a certified Hospice volunteer, board member at Unitarian Universalists of Clearwater (UUC) and a religious education instructor at UUC. I am co-creator and organizer of The Mingle, an annual event, held in the heart of downtown Dunedin, which benefits Academie DaVinci Charter School of the Arts. I am creator and organizer of Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Festival at UUC, held in October.
